Principle of operation:
Prepared product (crushed, disclosed, classified, heated, dried) is fed into a loading hopper and after that onto the surface of charging plate. Due to the friction of the particles of the mixture on the surface of the plate they receive positive or negative charges and then are separated by the forces of the electric field. According to the sign of the charge the particles of product are attracted either to the precipitating electrode or to the deflecting electrode which are connected to high voltage power supplies.
