The PROTEM US25 is a powerful, durable, reliable and versatile portable tube and pipe beveling and facing machine. The machining capacity of the US25 is 12.5 mm (1/2") ID to max. 120 mm (4.724") OD. The PROTEM US25 will perform repeatable high quality weld end preparations on virtually all materials including mild, chrome, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, copper-nickel alloy steel, inconel, P91, aluminium, copper. The versatile cutting head accepts up to four cutting bits. Four machining operations can be carried out simultaneously or individually. The tool bits can be changed and adjusted very quickly. Carbide tool inserts can also be used. Beveling, facing, counterboring, elimination of weld seams, lengthening of heat exchanger tubes.
