Overview
The Qpress 40 is a hot mounting press designed for accelerated mounting workflows in laboratory and production environments. It combines speed-optimized heating/cooling control, a bayonet quick-release closure and a 7-inch industrial touchscreen for clear parameter setting. An integrable, patented Dust Guard extraction system is available to reduce granulate dust during filling.

Software
Two software variants are available: GO (standard) and PLUS (advanced). GO provides straightforward parameter setting and process start. PLUS adds the Butler one-button function, a method database with preinstalled consumable-specific recipes, automated control of the Dust Guard extraction and a 2-step mode for sensitive samples.

Mounting workflow (typical)

• Place sample(s) in mould
• Fill mould with mounting resin or granulate
• Lock bayonet quick-release closure

• After cycle, open closure and remove hardened sample
