Power supply in Ex d enclosures
Flameproof and insulated from the enclosure wall
Version with: Slotted clamps, U-clamps, soldered connections
For voltages up to max. 1000 V and currents up to max. 630 A
Functional Description -
The conductor bushings are permitted to provide a power supply in enclosures with the "flameproof" type of protection. They are inserted into the enclosure wall in such a way that they are flameproof and insulated. The feed-through pin is arranged in the centre of a threaded ring and the parts are joined together to form an inseparable unit using premium, leakage-current-resistant insulating material (epoxy resin). Increased creepage distances and clearances according to IEC/EN 60079-7 apply to the connection terminal points which protrude into the Ex e enclosure. The conductor bushings must be secured so that they cannot come loose.
