The RAVAS SafeLoad uses input from a hydraulic sensor and a set of sensors that measure the moment forces resulting from the load centre of gravity and mast tilt. When lifting is unsafe, the RAVAS SafeLoad cab display warns the driver with both audible and visual signals. SafeLoad thus helps to prevent accidents, injuries and damage. Please note: RAVAS SafeLoad is only available through selected RAVAS partners in a limited number of countries. Warning system for forklift trucks Weight display An LED bar below the weight display changes from green (safe) to yellow to red (unsafe) to indicate a potential risk of tipping. The colour of the display changes accordingly. A fork in the weight display is divided into three segments, one of which lights up to indicate the load centre of gravity on the forks. Lifting activity logging The RAVAS SafeLoad indicator has a built-in data logging function. Every lifting action is automatically recorded, with date and time. The data, which can be downloaded via a wireless connection, provides information about how safely and efficiently the truck is being used, for fleet management purposes. Active load diagram The RAVAS SafeLoad functions as an active load diagram: it calculates the weight, load centre of gravity and mast inclination to determine whether a load is being lifted safely.
