Remke liquidtight connectors are made of stainless steel and have IP68 and NEMA 4x rating. They offer the highest level of corrosion resistance. This combined with the robustness of stainless steel ensures high durability. The connectors also provide several other features. They can be used for connection between a liquidtight conduit and a knockout or threaded NPT opening. They can also be used in wet or dry locations for protecting electrical connections from dirt, dust, water, oil, chemicals and other corrosive substances. Body and ferrule are made of type 304 stainless steel. They are available as straight or 90 degree angled. Conduit sizes from 3/8" to 2" are available in stock. Throat has nylon insulation. Standard O-Ring is Viton®; O-ring from other manufacturers is available optionally. The connectors are UL Listed and have CSA certification. Remke liquidtight connectors are useful in OEM and MRO applications in highly corrosive and difficult environments. Examples include food & beverage processing, petrochemical, portable equipment, and wastewater treatment. They are also suitable for generators and transformers, pulp and paper mills, offshore oil rigs and platforms, heavy-duty electrical motors, and processing of chemicals.
