Description

The Rimor manufactures guillotine valves for all those applications where it does not have to be present – with the valve open – no impediment to the flow of fluid eg shavings and so on, this can not be achieved with butterfly valves for obvious reasons. All Rimor guillotine valves are made with the supporting structure in carpentry which, depending on the use, can be in: S235JR (ex Fe360) S355 J0WP (CORTEN) X 5 CrNi 18 10 more commonly called AISI 304 X 5 CrNi 18 10 (AISI 316) X 6 CrNiTi 18-10 (AISI 321) X 6 CrNiTi 18-10 (AISI 310) Below are some types of guillotine valves and type of control: Unidirectional guillotine valve Guillotine valve with through blade both types can have the following commands Handwheel manual control Manual lever control Double-acting pneumatic control Single acting pneumatic control Hydraulic control Electric control The guillotine valves for interception of powders and granules under silos and hoppers for this type of valve the sliding of the bulkhead can be ensured by: Single series of rolling bearings Double series of rolling bearings Slide guides made of self-lubricating material such as polyzene The appropriate operation of the guillotine valves with installation under drain can be: Manual with flyer Automatic with pneumatic cylinder or geared motor
