The Meerkat DTH is a fully hydraulic drilling rig designed for drilling in underground locations with capacity to drill in any position and angle in tunnels of Minimum dimensions ofH:2.2m by W:1.5m. The Meerkat DTH is capable ofhandlinglm rods and can be mounted on wheels using hydraulic drive for easy portability or using hydraulic crawlers for better traction. It has an electric power source thus eliminating environmentally unfriendly toxic combustion gases. It is equipped with a powerful hydraulic rotary head, capable of drilling efficiently up to a depth of80 meters in 76mm (optimal diameter) depending on the geological formation, ability of operator and the weight of the tools being used as well as the drill diameter.
