MEERKAT-25X The Meerkat 25x is a fully hydraulic drilling rig designed for drilling in underground locations with capacity to drill in any position and angle in tunnels of Minimum dimensions ofH:2.2m by W:1.5m. The Meerkat 25xis capable ofhandling 2.4m, 1.8m, 1.2m and 0.6m rods thanks to the différent mast lengths available for it and can be mounted on wheels using hydraulic drive for easy portability or using hydraulic crawlers for better traction. It has an electric power source thus eliminating environmentally unfriendly toxic combustion gases. It is equipped with a powerful 7kw hydraulic drifter, capable of drilling efficiently up to a depth oflO meters in 36mm (optimal diameter) depending on the geological formation, ability ofoperator and the weight ofthe tools being used as well as the drill diameter. Rig performance is directly related to the geologicol conditions, operator skills, tools being used and other variables.
