OverviewThe R&S®NGT3600 series provides one or two fully independent 1800 W outputs in a compact programmable DC power supply. Each output supports up to 80 V or 50 A and the instrument includes autoranging (FlexPower), QuickArb, EasyRamp, remote sensing, a 4.3" touchscreen and integrated data logging to streamline test workflows and reduce configuration errors.
Key facts- Max. output power: 3600 W (two outputs)
- Max. voltage per output: 80 V
- Max. current per output: 50 A
- Expandable to up to 480 V or 300 A in Multi-Device mode
- Intuitive online product configurator with transparent pricing
Main features and benefits- 4.3" high-resolution touchscreen: fast navigation and virtual keyboard; clear channel overview with status, statistics and active protections.
- Autoranging (FlexPower): automatically adapts the voltage/current range to extract maximum power from each channel across wide voltage/current combinations.
- Channel fusion: combine the two outputs in series for higher voltage or in parallel for higher current.
- Multi-Device mode: synchronize up to six outputs across multiple R&S®NGT3600 units (host/client) for scalable high-voltage stacks or high-current configurations.
- Integrated measurements: per-output voltage and current measurement with high resolution (down to 1 mV / 100 µA) and statistics (min, max, avg) for power, voltage, current and energy.
- Data logging: simultaneous voltage and current logging on all outputs; timestamped CSV export for analysis and documentation.
- Arbitrary function (QuickArb): create time-varying voltage/current sequences with dwell times down to 1 ms for realistic stress tests.
