Description

Summary
R&S®NGA100 DC power supplies are linear, compact and easy to use in diverse scenarios. All models provide excellent readback accuracy with a low-current range for demanding measurements. Data logging, arbitrary waveforms (CH1), built-in statistics and remote sensing features make these instruments suitable for bench applications and automated tests. Channel fusion (serial/parallel) extends voltage and current range. Advanced protection functions (OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP) protect connected devices and the instruments.

Applications
  • R&D
  • Creating IoT low power designs
  • Manufacturing
  • Education
  • General purpose bench use

Key facts
  • Max. output power: 80 W (series max)
  • Max. voltage per channel: 35 V or 100 V (depending on model)
  • Max. current per channel: 2 A or 6 A (depending on model)
  • Up to 200 V in serial mode or up to 12 A in parallel mode with channel fusion
  • Intuitive, price-transparent online product configurator

Features & benefits
Linear design
Linear output stages minimize residual ripple and noise, providing extremely stable output voltage and current for sensitive circuitry.

High readback accuracy
Outstanding programming and readback accuracy for precise measurement and replication of device power consumption, including low-current measurement range. Currents below 200 mA are measured with a resolution of 1 µA and accuracy of ±(0.15 % + 25 µA). Integrated statistics show min./max. values for power, voltage and current.

FlexPower
The series operates with maximum power at various operating points and covers more operating combinations than single-range power supplies; FlexPower curves indicate available voltage/current combinations per model.

Channel Fusion
The two output channels of R&S®NGA102 and R&S®NGA142 can be fused in series or parallel to double voltage or current capability. Serial fusion is internal; parallel fusion requires external wiring.

Convenient configuration
Base units and options can be selected in an online configurator to create the required instrument configuration with transparent pricing.
