Description

Overview
The R&S®NGE100B DC power supply series provides efficient, low‑ripple outputs and a set of practical functions for bench and test applications. Models are available with two (R&S®NGE102B) or three (R&S®NGE103B) independently controlled channels. Typical use cases include R&D, education, manufacturing test, maintenance and repair. An online product configurator is available for fast selection.

Features & benefits
Galvanically isolated channels
Each channel is electrically isolated from the others and not tied to chassis earth, allowing safe series and bipolar connections without ground conflicts in complex DUT setups.

Parallel and serial operation
Channels are electrically equivalent and can be connected in series for higher voltages (up to 96 V with the R&S®NGE103B, up to 64 V with the R&S®NGE102B) or paralleled for higher currents (up to 6 A when combining two channels; up to 9 A using all three channels of the R&S®NGE103B).

Protection functions
Per‑channel limits are supported: maximum current (electronic fuse / OCP), maximum voltage (OVP), maximum power (OPP) and thermal protection (OTP). On limit reach, the affected output switches off and a message is shown. The optional FuseLink function links overcurrent protection across channels.

Color‑coded operating conditions
A 3.5" QVGA display (320 × 240) shows operating states with color codes: constant voltage = green, constant current = red, inactive = white; the channel being adjusted is highlighted with a blue background.
