OverviewHAIPICK Climb (HAI Robotics technology integrated by SAVOYE) is an AMR goods-to-person solution designed for high-density order picking. Robots climb racking to retrieve totes at height and combine vertical and horizontal movements to deliver a continuous flow of totes to picking stations, enabling high storage density and increased throughput.
Operation and principleThe system uses autonomous robots that locate and extract totes from racking with a telescopic fork, then transport them to operator stations. Robots perform both aisle navigation and vertical access, enabling goods-to-person picking without heavy fixed infrastructure.
Navigation and onboard technologiesOnboard technologies include LiDAR, depth sensors, vision systems and SLAM algorithms for real-time mapping, obstacle detection and dynamic path planning. Positioning and navigation enable precise tote handling and safe coexistence with operators and other equipment.
Warehouse role and benefits- Eliminates non-value travel for operators by bringing goods to the workstation.
- Shortens picking cycles and increases throughput during peak periods.
- Improves accuracy and traceability of movements.
- Enables incremental capacity growth by adding robots or racks.
Flexibility and scalabilityHAIPICK Climb is modular and can be scaled according to operational needs. The Pay-as-you-grow approach allows phased deployment: start with a limited number of robots and aisles, then expand capacity by adding units or racks.
Installation and maintenanceThe solution typically requires a single side rail per aisle, reducing installation complexity. Robots can travel under racks, simplifying routing and lowering maintenance constraints. This design supports fast deployment and streamlined upkeep.
Density: every meter counts- Racking height up to 12 m, in single- or double-depth configurations.
- Aisle width reduced to 900 mm.
- No transverse aisles required.
- Storage and picking on both sides of the aisle.
Order picking stationStations are designed for seamless robot–operator interaction with a focus on ergonomics and safety. Key features:
- Automated pick-and-place interface: robots deposit or retrieve totes directly at the station.
- Ergonomic layout to reduce operator strain.
- Safety features such as automatic doors and protective covers.
- Mobile design to allow station repositioning for layout changes.
Software and system integrationHAIPICK Climb integrates with WMS/WCS for mission assignment, inventory updates and fleet management. Centralized dashboards provide real-time monitoring and orchestration of robot tasks to optimize throughput.
Partnership and added valueThe solution combines HAI Robotics climbing AMR technology with SAVOYE's integration and software expertise to deliver improved space utilization, higher throughput and operational flexibility for warehouses.
