Entry model into cable production
The CrimpLine 240 BASIC is an entry-level crimping machine designed to deliver the essential functions required for industrial cable termination and harness production. It combines compact footprint with straightforward setup and maintenance features suitable for small-scale series or integration into production lines.

Easy preparation
The machine accepts all common crimping applicators and features a quick-release clamping system for fast applicator changes. An electric jog mode enables functional and collision checks of the terminal feed and crimping sequence. The terminal strip chopper is mounted horizontally to simplify insertion of the carrier strip and reduce setup time.

High-quality crimping results
The horizontal terminal strip chopper minimizes redirection of the carrier strip and reduces influences on the crimping process. An optional crimp force monitoring system can be integrated to support in-line quality assurance during cable production.

Robust construction
Compared with earlier Schäfer machines in this class, the CrimpLine 240 BASIC offers increased rigidity for improved precision at higher pressing forces. Its slim, compact design allows installation and use in confined workspaces.

High operator safety
Operator protection is provided by a monitored protective device: removing covers interrupts the safety circuit and stops processing. The machine meets applicable European directives for mechanical and electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility.
