Description

PROFITABLE USE OF RECOVERED ENERGY To allow heat to be used flexibly, it is often necessary to extract the thermal energy at various temperature levels. Heat recovery systems used with local heat and district heat allow the energy that is recovered to be put to the best possible use in a profitable way. For example: Return-flow bypass for district heat network Heating rooms Heating water MAXIMUM HEAT EXTRACTION USING ERCS As early as 1996, the first Scheuch flue gas condenser plant for heat recovery was commissioned. Over the years, we have continually developed our processes based on our experience gained through practice and intensive research, which has led us to develop the ercs process (Energy Recovery & Cleaning System). This system ensures maximum heat recovery for boiler outputs of up to 200 MW. APPLICATION AREAS FOR RECOVERED HEAT The heat recovered from flue gas can be put to good use for the following applications, for instance: Boosting efficiency in district and local heating networks Process heat (e.g. for steam or ORC processes) Drying shavings, fuel or sawn timber Depluming of the steam plume at the chimney outlet Useful heat for industrial processes
