Quality assurance without even leaving the machine chute with the SCHUMA USK With the SCHUMA add-on separator, separation takes place directly on the conveyor belt. Attached to a SCHUMA conveyor belt, you save space compared to stand-alone separators. The separator is driven by the drive unit of the conveyor belt. Sorting is based on the height difference between the sprue and the moulded part. The moulded parts and the sprue fall from the conveyor belt onto a stainless steel chute and are fed to a screw roller. The lower object slides through the gap, while the larger object is discharged to the side via the screw roller. Depending on your requirements, we can manufacture the AS for you in the left or right discharge direction.
