Quality assurance without even leaving the machine chute with the SCHUMA USK
With the SCHUMA changeover flap, quality assurance takes place directly in the discharge chute of the injection moulding machine. Separation takes place via a slide plate, which can change the slide direction pneumatically or electrically. Positioned in the chute, the USK receives a signal from the injection moulding machine as to whether the shot is good or bad. If the signal is ‘bad shot’, the USK switches over and the bad parts slide off in a different direction. If the signal drops, the changeover flap swivels back to its original position.
