Product descriptionOur radiant tubes for indirect heating are developed for demanding thermal process applications. Tubes manufactured in CarSIK (silicon-infiltrated, reaction-bonded silicon carbide) and in 3D-printed IntrinSiC® (RBSiC) offer long-term dimensional stability, high thermal conductivity and reliable performance in sensitive industrial processes. Large diameters and lengths (Ø ≥ 200 mm, L ≥ 3000 mm) are available on request to increase heat-exchange surface and to support adequate circulation rates that help reduce NOx emissions.
Manufacturing and shapesIn addition to conventionally formed single-ended tubes we supply U- and P-shaped configurations. For complex internal geometries we offer IntrinSiC® produced by additive manufacturing, enabling features such as inner spiral contours that are not feasible with conventional forming methods.
You benefit from these advantages- Available grades: CarSIK-G and IntrinSiC® (3D-printed RBSiC)
- High bending strength and creep resistance
- Excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance
- Very good thermal shock resistance
- High net-heating efficiency due to elevated thermal conductivity
- Large-size availability for single-ended, U- and P-shaped tubes in RBSiC
- Optional tailor-made flange designs; isostatically pressed grade for high surface quality
- Design flexibility (e.g. inner spiral contours) enabled by 3D-printed IntrinSiC®
