Description

Product overview
The SEVEN 3S-RH&AT is a capacitive sensor designed to measure relative humidity and ambient temperature, with an optional pressure measurement capability. The sensor is supplied with mounting hardware and a UV-resistant plastic radiation shield composed of four aspirated plates that permit free airflow while protecting the measuring elements.

Working principle
The sensing element is housed inside a UV-resistant protective shield. The 3S-RH&AT measures relative humidity and ambient temperature via a measuring transmitter with I²C output. A 7‑pin connector allows integration with SEVEN irradiance sensors, Sensor Boxes, dataloggers and other receiving devices for straightforward system integration.

Installation
Run a system check at ground level before final mounting. Install the sensor away from dark, reflective or heat-absorbing surfaces and local heat sources (vent outlets, chimneys). For roof installations, mount on the side exposed to prevailing wind. Installation is performed in two stages: fix the mounting structure, then attach the sensor to the mounting frame.
