SEVEN 3S-RG-MB tipping-bucket rain gauge accurately measures rainfall over a 200 cm² collection area using a tipping-bucket mechanism and a reed relay. Pulse data are available via RS485 using the Modbus RTU protocol. The sensor combines corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum components and Plexiglass parts for durable outdoor operation and includes a 3 m UV- and weather-resistant LIYY cable.

How it works
The device counts tipping events from the bucket assembly (resolution 0.2 mm) via a reed relay to calculate cumulative precipitation and rainfall intensity categories (light, moderate, heavy) across the 200 cm² collection area.
