Description

Model 3541 is designed to determine fracture mechanics parameters such as JIC, KIC, R-curve, fatigue crack growth rate (da/daN), and test according to standards. They also meet the requirements for JIC and R-curve definitions. Extensometers are used for a variety of fracture mechanics tests, including compact tensile, arcuate, disk-shaped, flexural specimens, or other specimen geometries. The extensometers can be used directly on test pieces where the knife edges are integral with the test piece or alternately with additional bolted knife edges mounted on the test piece. Clamping force, N 9-14 Output, mV/V 2-4 Nonlinearity ≤ 0.20% of full range measurement Operating temperature range, ˚С -40 to +100 Maximum operating frequency, Hz from 5 to > 200, depending on modification
