Description

The length of the base of the lengthy stable extensometer 3543 is from 50 mm, the measurement range is up to 100 mm. The extensometer has a unique design that splits into 2 parts, which allows you to not remove it before breaking the sample. Widely used for strain measurements on long specimens. Ideal for testing steel bars, welds and wire materials. Suitable for round specimens up to 25 mm in diameter and flat specimens up to 12 mm thick and 31 mm wide. The 3543 extensometer is designed specifically for use in testing environments where standard axial extensometers are not applicable. The 3543 extensometer was designed to withstand specimen failure by splitting into two halves, thereby preventing damage to the extensometer. During operation, the upper half of the extensometer is pulled out of the main body. This unique design allows for large measuring ranges while maintaining compatibility with strain gauge electronics. These models offer high precision and are lightweight yet durable. Model 3543 extensometers are strain gauge devices, making them compatible with any electronics designed for strain gauge transducers. Clamping force, g 125 Output, mV/V 2-4 Strain measurement range, % from 5 to 100 Nonlinearity ≤ 0.15% of full scale Operating temperature range, ˚С -40 to +100
