Overview
FA19 is a maintenance-free offshore wind speed sensor designed for operation in severe marine corrosion environments (C5-M). Special corrosion-resistant bearings and an all-metal 6061 aluminium alloy body with hard anodized treatment provide resistance to corrosion and abrasion. Multiple straight-through and staggered non-contact labyrinth seals with optimized cavity aspect ratios ensure IP66 ingress protection. The sensor is suitable for accurate wind measurement in harsh conditions such as strong winds, sandstorms and marine environments.
