Overview
This rapid gasoline PIONA analyzer is designed for compliance with ASTM D8071. It enables simultaneous determination of bulk PIONA (paraffins, iso-paraffins, olefins, naphthenes, aromatics), selected oxygenated compounds, and BTEX in gasoline. Classification is performed from Vacuum Ultraviolet (VUV) absorption spectra, allowing sample analysis in approximately 30 minutes. The system’s simplified configuration supports broad applicability, including other petroleum products.
