Analytical Screening Machine LAVIB The LAVIB 300 test sieve shaker is a flat sieve shaker with a horizontal circular sieving motion for holding test sieves with a maximum diameter of 300 mm. The planar screening machine is primarily used for classifying fibrous and flat bulk materials, such as those found in the wood, spice, tobacco and plastics industries, milling and brewing. Depending on the area of application, the machine offers the option of fixing the screening tower or moving it freely on the drive plate. In the latter case, the centrifugal forces cause the screen set to collide with the stop pieces, resulting in additional horizontal impacts on the screen drum. These additional impulses shorten the screening time and reduce the clamping grain. The eccentric drive for the drive plate and the balancing mass are housed in an attractive casing, whereby the high mass ensures that the machine runs smoothly and stands securely.
