Laboratory sample splitter Ripple divider for manual bulk material division into two representative samples by alternating sequences. Sample can be repeatedly halved for ratios of 1/2n. The maximum feed grain size should be approx. 1/3 smaller than the cell width of the divider. For higher demands on dividing accuracy and function, the max. grain size should be max. 1/3 of the cell width. Ripple dividers can be used for the quantitative division of dry, granular, powdery samples. The entire riffle divider, including the three collecting boxes, is made of stainless steel. This makes it ideal for reducing the sample material on site. It can be used without a power connection, is simple to operate and easy to clean.
