Product DescriptionVery early and reliable detection of developing fires through combined analysis of smoke, heat and gas. Fast response to CO-generating fires and reliable alarming in environments with potential deceptive phenomena. Operates on the scattered-light principle with two optical sensors (forward and backward scattering) and an opto-electronic sampling chamber that suppresses stray light while detecting both dark and light smoke particles. Two additional heat sensors and an extra CO sensor improve immunity to nuisance sources and enhance response characteristics. Detection behavior is selectable via application-specific ASA parameter sets. The integrated CO analysis provides exceptionally fast detection for vulnerable-occupancy applications (e.g. nursing homes, hospitals, sheltered accommodations). The detector base must be ordered separately.
