When using normal industrial thermometers in cooling applications, the thermometer housing cools down considerably due to the good thermal conductivity of the immersion tube and the aluminium casing. In case of high humidity, condensation may form on the casing. This effect can be avoided by using a thermometer with a condensation barrier. Casing Nominal size 150 mm, aluminium, V-shaped, smoothly polished on all sides, anodised in brass colour, numbers of the display range printed in black on the right-hand side of the scale under the anodised layer.
