SOCOMEC current transformers provide a standard current to the secondary proportional to the primary current, which is adapted to the related device's rating. Standard version features detachable terminal covers and double terminals, which allow short-circuiting of the secondary with no extra risk. Mounting is done with two screw-on metal brackets or in a few instances they have a clip-on DIN rail mounting. Either screws or fast-on terminals are used for making connections.
