Direct PROFIBUS PA Segment Integration into PROFINET Control Systems With pnGate PA it is possible to integrate up to 4 PROFIBUS PA segments into PROFINET systems using virtual mapping. With pnGate PA the engineering costs can be reduced since it re-uses existing power conditioners in technology upgrade projects. It provides S2 redundancy and enables configuration, parameterization and plant asset management using standard industry tools.
