The precision vises Type EHS are used on grinding machines, jig boring machines and other precision machines as well as universal clamping tool in the field of measuring and testing. The vises are useable on all four different faces and offer a maximum of clamping width. The clamping jaw contains a horizontal grinded prism. Pull-down system The movable jaw is pulled down by the resulting clamping force. This causes a reduced lifting of workpieces during machining. No hammering on the workpiece. No chattering. Simple operation The movable jaw can be slid to the workpiece by hand and clamped. On release, the movable jaw automatically backs away from the workpiece. Stroke indication With the built-in stroke indicaton the aivailable stroke is shown. If the signal pin completely extended, and the mark on the pin is shown, the clamping jaw must be removed inside of the guidance grid.
