Product overviewThe workstation presented here for testing electrical hedge trimmers was developed in coordination with a customer. The customer required an ergonomic solution allowing testing of two hedge trimmers at the same time.
Key features- Ergonomic workstation designed for simultaneous testing of two hedge trimmers.
- Extra-wide DUT enclosure to accommodate all currently available hedge trimmer types, including differing blade lengths.
- Universal outlet enabling connection of various country-specific plug variations.
- Functional test for both hedge trimmers performed concurrently; high-voltage test executed individually for each trimmer.
- Test hood used (instead of a light curtain) to protect the user from noise generated during testing.
- Test components integrated into the base of the DUT enclosure to minimise external workstation dimensions and save space.
- Compact design suitable for setup in manufacturing halls.
Design & installation notesThe extra-wide DUT enclosure allows easy and comfortable insertion of test products into the testing area and enables testing of different types simultaneously. Integration of test components into the enclosure base reduces footprint and creates a compact workstation that can be positioned where needed in production environments.
