Available with manual, pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuation for maximum adaptability. The CMUR-CMD standard wall-mounted sliding penstocks from STF Filters are mechanisms designed to isolate or seal fluid flow in hydraulic and industrial systems. They provide bidirectional sealing as standard, with an optional unidirectional version, compliant with DIN 19569-4 (Class 5) and AWWA C561-04 standards. Frames and panels are manufactured in AISI-304L stainless steel as standard, with optional materials such as carbon steel, AISI-316L, duplex, or super duplex for demanding environments. Self-cleaning PE-HMW polyethylene glides with low friction coefficient minimize actuation force and extend the seal’s service life. They come with a rising spindle (standard) or non-rising spindle (optional) and can be operated manually (handwheel or gearbox), pneumatically (single or double effect), electrically, or hydraulically. Double-lip self-adjusting EPDM seals are standard, with NBR available upon request. The modular design allows for accessories such as extension stems, operating feet, wall brackets, and mechanical stops. An optional "ACS" health certification is available for potable water applications.
