CCA/CAD channel penstocks block fluid flow in open channels. Made of stainless or carbon steel, they provide unidirectional or bidirectional sealing and multiple actuation options.
STF Filters’ CCA and CAD channel penstocks are designed to stop fluid flow in open ducts as long as the gate height is not exceeded. Built in AISI-304L stainless steel by default, they are also available in carbon steel, AISI-316L, duplex, or superduplex options for enhanced strength and adaptability. They provide three-sided sealing—bottom and sides—typically unidirectional, with bidirectional sealing optional. Featuring EPDM or NBR self-adjusting dual-lip gaskets and PE-HMW sliding guides, they ensure low-friction operation and prolonged durability. Spindles can be rising or non-rising, with manual, pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuation. Sizes range from 200x200 mm to 2000x2000 mm. Certified under DIN 19569-4 and AWWA C561-04, with ACS sanitary certification available. Installation can be embedded in concrete or wall-mounted, fitting a variety of civil works.
