Description
Type RIZ ELG2 is a centrifugal lift off sprag type freewheel used when there is over running of the inner race. The race has been specifically designed for freewheeling. The self contained unit is designed for overrunning clutch applications. The RIZ..ELG2 is mainly used in crawl drives where the over running speed is high, however the drive speed is low and does not exceed the maximum driving speed that is specified by the table. The RIZ comes equipped with an elastic coupling as well as a cover G2. The type EL is high performance coupling that is used for damp torsional vibrations which accepts misalignment while preventing excess bearing load. The inner race overruns and it is connected to the driven machine shaft. The complete order sees the diliver of the unit grease lubricated ready for vertical or horizontal installation. The torques seen in the table are determined via the capacity of the freewheel.
