Overview
AIRfiber complements Storopack’s air cushion portfolio. The paper-based air pillows are made primarily of recyclable paper combined with a water-soluble inner coating that dissolves during the paper recycling process, allowing the product to be recycled with paper. AIRfiber bears the 'Made for Recycling' seal by interzero® according to DIN EN 13430. The air-filled pillows create large volume using minimal material and are suitable for standard packaging applications. Compared with crumpled paper void-fill, AIRfiber’s air-filled volume reduces transport weight and related handling and disposal costs.

Applications
Same applications as conventional air pillows: cushioning of goods, blocking and bracing of products inside cartons, and filling voids to prevent movement. Suitable where a paper-based, recyclable void-fill or cushioning is required.

Produced with existing Storopack air machine systems. Designed for easy and intuitive use throughout the packaging process, from production to packing.

Environmental & recycling information
Made mostly from paper with a water-soluble inner coating so the product can be recycled with paper. The inner coating dissolves in the paper recycling process and leaves no harmful residues. AIRfiber is certified with the 'Made for Recycling' seal by interzero® according to DIN EN 13430. Using AIRfiber reduces paper waste and disposal fees compared with bulky or crumpled paper solutions.
