Overview
The m.BUTTON mioty® is a compact emergency call button that enables personnel to discreetly trigger an alarm when facing a threat. It can be worn on the body or attached to a stationary object (for example under a desk). When pressed unobtrusively, the device transmits an alarm via mioty® to a paired base station, which forwards it to the alarm platform. The user receives vibration acknowledgement and, based on configured alarm data, the platform can automatically initiate defined responses (notify colleagues, security or emergency services).

How it works
The m.BUTTON sends the alarm wirelessly via mioty® to a base station. The base station forwards the alarm to the alarm platform over the Internet. The platform can then distribute alerts automatically to colleagues, internal security teams and/or external emergency services according to configuration and personalized alarm information.

Installation & form factor
With dimensions of 90 x 44 x 22 mm the device is compact and easy to carry. It can be worn on the person or fixed to stationary objects (e.g. under a desk). The unit is IP67 rated for protection against dust and water, and supports simple installation and attachment options.
