TDK’s Gear Tooth Sensors are highly sensitive rotation sensors that help purify emission from automobiles and two-wheeled vehicles, improve fuel efficiency, and improve engine performance. High-accuracy digital outputs with suppressed jittering from the point of zero speed rotations made possible by a unique magnetic circuit design with an optimum placement of a highly sensitive differential hall IC and magnets. In addition, by using our independently developed housing structure, we have achieved environmental durability that far exceeds that of our competitors while reducing costs at the same time. The many features include high-accuracy digital outputs due to IC compatibility, a high thermostability design (–40 to +150°C), a built-in surge voltage suppression circuit, and excellent environmental endurance against vibration, noise, water immersion, etc
