The TENRIT Top, tail and piece cutter is used to cut off ends and dice (optional) carrots, cucumbers, radishes, parsnips or other long and round products. The products are usually supplied to the machine from a peeling machine or from an infeed conveyor. The products are separated automatically using a step singulation system. Three counter-rotating traverse bands on the fixed stages first move the product to the left to cut off the first end, and then to the right to cut off the second end. With the last movement, the product is then pressed against an optional cutter bar and cut into pieces. The side cuts are infinitely adjustable and the piece cut is made in a standard size of 25 mm. By removing individual blades, the piece cut can also be made to measure 50 mm, 75 mm or 100 mm. Other dimensions on request. Thanks to a quick-change system, the cutter bar can be quickly removed to cut only the top and the tail.
