tesa® 4317 is a thin, flexible crepe masking tape designed for general masking, painting and lacquering operations. It combines a fine crepe paper backing with a natural rubber adhesive that adheres reliably to painted metal, rubber, glass and certain plastics.

Product features

• Resistant to wet sanding.
• Suitable for a wide range of general masking applications with or without subsequent oven-drying up to 80 °C.
• Fine crepe paper backing is flexible, conformable and easy to tear by hand.
• Paints and fillers adhere well to the reverse side, reducing the risk of flaking.

• Used for spray-painting, painting and varnishing operations.
• Good holding power on various substrates.
