Overview
Flexible and precise cap applicator designed for accurate, high-quality screw cap application on Tetra Pak packages. Easy operation via the Tetra Pak Operator Panel and a vision system that ensures caps are positioned accurately. Features include accurate glue dosing, a glue regulator, and an auto-eject function that removes packages with misplaced caps or uneven hotmelt application.

Features
Vision system
The positioning of the hole (as opposed to the package itself) is captured by a camera in the machine, which ensures a highly precise cap application. Cap holders are designed to move independently from one another for even greater accuracy. This feature is standard for TPA and TGA lines and unavailable for ReCap and SlimCap lines.

Double Hotmelt Applicator
Enables smooth high speed application of screw caps. Hot melt application is synchronised by a servo drive for precise, smooth movements that minimise defects and spills at higher machine speeds.

Operator interface
Easy operation through the Tetra Pak Operator Panel with an intuitive touch screen; ground-level access to essential working parts and large observation windows for operators.

Auto-eject function
The auto-eject function measures and calculates whether a screw cap is positioned correctly on the package. If it detects an incorrectly positioned cap, the package is automatically ejected from the line to ensure delivery of easy-to-open packages.

Flow principle
Packages pass through the machine in a straight line without stopping or changing direction. Caps are applied in line as they pass through the machine, resulting in swift but gentle handling, good package shape, and a high output of on-target packages.
