Particularly in rough industrial environment as it is present in the automotive or process industry, protection class IP54 is more and more demanded to be standard for components alike. This facilitates the cleaning of constructions. Additionally, plants can be operated without interruption also during maintenance work with increased presence of dust in the environment. For Smartline™ vacuum transducers, Thyracont Vacuum Instruments now offers a mating plug as well as suitable measuring cables, both with safety class IP54. This allows for the protection of the vacuum gauges against dust and splash water in an optimum way. Smartline transducers measure from 1000 mbar to 5e-10 mbar. They are optionally available with backlit LCD display. Thanks to modern combination sensors they are able to record wide pressure ranges such as fine and high vacuum with excellent precision.
