POWERFLEX® BESS ULTRA 1,8/3kV is an extra-flexible power cable engineered for demanding battery energy storage systems (BESS) and critical grid installations. Its flexibility simplifies routing in confined or complex layouts while offering insulation and sheath materials suitable for outdoor, buried and conduit installations.

Typical applications

• DC main power distribution: consolidating power from multiple battery racks to the central DC bus with robust insulation and flame-retardant properties.
• Inter-cell and module connections: internal wiring between cells and modules within cabinets and racks for secure DC transfer.
• AC integration and grid connection: connections between the battery system inverter and facility or utility grid for stable export and synchronization.

Construction

• Conductor: Copper, class 5 (flexible) and class 6 (ultra-flexible) up to 150 mm².
• Insulation: XLPE, natural colour.
