Torco SD-5 Synthetic Diesel Oil 15W-40 is designed to conserve energy and resources by increasing fuel mileage and extending oil drains. SD-­5 is formulated using hydro-cracked base oils along with the chemically balanced MPZ® anti­wear package to provide unequalled protection for today's diesel engine. MPZ® provides a separating anti-wear barrier to reduce friction and wear while increasing power throughput. The high alkaline reserve (TBN) effectively protects the engine from any corrosive acids that may form. The low SAPS contained in SD­-5 protect your engine from wear even in the presence of soot and other contaminants.
