Description

The Tyco Model TSS Plug Type Supervisory Switch is designed to supervise sprinkler system control valves and may be used in other applications such as securing gate valves. The switch assembly mounts to piping adjacent to a sprinkler system control valve featuring an operating handwheel. The supervisory cable is looped through the valve handwheel and plugged into the switch receptacle, completing the electrical circuit. Turning the valve handwheel causes the plug to be pulled from the receptacle and interrupting continuity of the electrical circuit.
