The DFS Series motors are equipped with an electromagnetic holding (standing) brake with a DC coil and fixed braking torque. Brakes can be supplied with separate feeding, suitable for two-speed configurations or inverter-fed applications.

Mechanical and performance features
These motors are available with B3, B5 and B14 flanges and have the following characteristics:
The FS brakes are supplied standard with 103 V DC for 230 V motors and 178 V DC for 400 V motors.
