Variable shunt reactor max. 50 MVar, 132 kV | VSR

The Variable Shunt Reactors, manufactured by TRENCH® innovates a reactors used for applications requiring a wide response power range with a non-dynamic regulation. It manages a steady-state voltage limit conditions to keep the power flow within predefined limits and retain a desired power factor. It has a 3-phase oil that is deeply involved with an iron-cored VSR for a receptive power rectification and a stepless adaptability in over a large on-load condition of power regulation range using the proven plunger core technique which permits a leveled transition between reactive power ratings. In addition, it has also a 3-phase power rating up to 50 MVAr with Voltage level up to 132 kV in solid restrict networks plus and the stepless power regulation range from 20-100%.
