Overview The entry-level 2D/3D laser cutting and welding machine TruLaser Cell 5030 is designed for small and medium batch production with frequent part changes. It reduces investment and running costs while providing process flexibility for cutting and welding through an energy-efficient TruDisk solid-state laser and proven TruLaser Cell functions.
Key benefits - Attractive price-performance ratio: lower investment and economical operation with a low machine-hour rate.
- Dynamic and precise: flying optics deliver consistent processing accuracy and high throughput.
- Reliable and fast: magnetic coupling for cutting and welding optics minimises mechanical damage; front sliding doors enable quick access.
- Simple operation: teachbox and touchscreen operation; TruTops Cell Shopfloor allows quick program adjustments at the machine.
Lasers and processing The TruLaser Cell 5030 is optimised for TruDisk disk lasers and is compatible with TruFiber fibre lasers. Excellent beam quality enables higher cutting speeds, improved productivity and better energy efficiency. A 2-in-1 fibre configuration allows cutting and welding with a single fibre cable by changing the processing optics.
Applications - Laser-cut tailgate: flexible processing of automotive body parts, from aluminium alloys to advanced steels.
- Laser-cut vehicle rear seat: trimming and contour cutting of deep-drawn components for cost-efficient small-volume production.
- Laser-welded fan wheel: laser processing of 3D parts enables new geometries, material savings and reduced rework.
Options and useful functions - FocusLine: program-controlled focal position adjustment by changing mirror curvature according to material and thickness.
- Smart Optics Setup: fixture for cutting test sheets and automatic machine readjustment using standardised macros.
- BrightLine Weld: option for virtually spatter-free welding and high seam quality; increases feed rates or reduces energy consumption and post-processing.
- VisionLine: image processing that detects geometric features and corrects NC programs to increase process reliability.
- 2-in-1 LLK: enables welding and cutting with one laser light cable; process switching by changing optics with automatic control adjustment.
- Rotary axis: for rotationally symmetrical parts; can be mounted horizontally or vertically with end support for long tubes/profiles.
- Movable tables: tables can be moved manually for easier loading/unloading of large components outside the work area.
- Digital connection & integration: interfaces and solutions for integration into production environments and third-party software (OPC UA supported).
