Description

Overview
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) sensor for in-process welding depth monitoring synchronized with production. VisionLine OCT Check measures keyhole/capillary depth and the geometry of the solidified weld seam, enabling 100% inspection along the weld when used with PFO optics without parameter adjustments.

Real-time monitoring and recording of weld depth and seam geometry. Quality data can be stored and retrieved using the QDS 2.0 quality data memory to support process decisions and traceability.

Integration
Seamless integration into TRUMPF solutions: OCT functions operate across the PFO working range, the OCT is integrated into the laser safety circuit and controlled via TruControl. Available optics include PFO 33 (requires 3rd generation PFO). Compatible lasers: TruDisk and TruFiber.
