Intelligent With More Skills At first glance, the iMarquee is a classic 3-color large display: It offers different font sizes and text lengths in the different variants, and the messages can be displayed flashing, as scrolling text or just in stationary format. The connection to the respective PLC system takes place via the serial port or via Ethernet. On closer examination, however, the iMarquee is somehow quite different: With its own control unit, it offers options that go far beyond what all the other large displays are capable of. It is the first intelligent large display on the market. The First Large Display That Talks To Your PLC In contrast to classic displays, the registers and inputs/ outputs used by the assigned PLC system can be read into the iMarquee via Excel or csv format. These can then be queried based on their state (e.g.: digital inputs/ outputs) or their values ​​and also logically linked together. For example, if it is determined that the delivery rate of a pump is below a certain threshold for a certain period of time, the display may issue a corresponding maintenance request (e.g. ,Check pump 3!'). This complete process can be realized within the iMarquee, without the need for a specific impulse from the connected PLC system! The programming of the functionality is realized by a separate software, which operates detached from the PLC program and which is available for free. Remote Control Upon Request Optionally, we do also offer a suitable WiFi module for this large display. This allows you to connect the iMarquee to any WLan-enabled device so you can easily implement program or parameter changes from your smartphone or tablet.
